Mariana Martínez is a Human Resources Business Partner at Ballester Hermanos, one of Puerto Rico's leading food and beverage distributors, where she works across recruiting, talent development, and organizational culture. She holds a Master of Science in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Universidad Albizu, the discipline behind how companies evaluate candidates, design selection processes, and measure job performance, and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Universidad de Puerto Rico. Before moving into HR full-time, she spent nearly two years as a Project Manager at Uber, giving her an operator's view of process optimization that she now applies to the employee and candidate experience. Mariana is a member of SHRM through its Puerto Rico chapter and holds a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. She is fully bilingual and reviews career content in both English and Spanish.
